All of our paper bags and mailers follow the same sustainable end-of-life plan outlined below, except for our Dura-Bag® shipping bag, which, while made from sustainable materials, contains nylon reinforcements and must be discarded responsibly.

Our products are crafted from high-quality, 100% recyclable kraft paper, making them an ideal choice for curbside recycling programs. Simply follow these steps:

• Remove any non-paper materials, such as labels or tapes.
• Flatten the bags or mailers for efficient recycling.

Did You Know?  Recycling one ton of paper saves 17 trees, 7,000 gallons of water, and 3 cubic yards of landfill space.

Naturally Breaks Down, Naturally Better
Our uncoated, natural paper products decompose in weeks under the right conditions. If a product ends up outside the recycling stream, it won’t harm the planet. Instead, it breaks down into organic matter, leaving no harmful residues.

From Bag to Rich, Nutrient-Dense Soil
WCI paper products are compostable in both industrial and backyard setups. Composting turns our bags into valuable organic matter for soil enrichment. Here’s how you can compost our products:

1. Shred the paper into smaller pieces for faster breakdown.
2. Remove any synthetic elements like tape or adhesives.
3. Add the paper to your compost as “brown” material.

Fun Fact: Composting one bag adds essential carbon to your compost mix, balancing “green” food waste for optimal soil creation.
